Dyspraxia Foundation Conference for Professionals, 27th September 2008

Spanning the years: a joint approach to dealing with dyspraxia.

A one day conference for professionals supporting children, teenagers and adults with neuro-developmental disorders.

News item image To be held at The Sheraton Hotel, Heathrow, London this one day event will include health and education programmes and choice of workshops.

Guest speakers include Dr Donald Maciver and Christine Owen of ACHIEVE Alliance, Scotland covering the child and family journey through services and Professor Amanda Kirby talking about co-morbidity and overlapping conditions with DCD.

A choice of two workshops to include: strategies to improve self esteem; intervention for the young child with DCD and programmes for the classroom; working memory in DCD children and social inclusion for children and young people with dyspraxia/DCD.

Fee: £135 (Dyspraxia Foundation members receive 10% discount) to include keynote speeches, choice of workshops, handouts, paper and poster presentations, exhibition of resources, hot buffet lunch and parking.
