…. with the Dyspraxic Doctor, Dr Emma Tremaine.
Location: Penventon Park Hotel, West End, Redruth
When: Tuesday 26th November 2019 – 6:30 – 8:30pm
Dyspraxia can affect cognitive skills and how the brain plans, processes and responds to information. Emma will discuss everything from supporting learning and confidence with motor tasks in both children and adults, to understanding and managing difficulties with organisation, planning and working memory.
Coordination, balance and posture will also be discussed, as well as muscle tone and why Dyspraxic individuals may ache and be more prone to injuring themselves.
Importantly, we will also look at the strengths and positives of Dyspraxia too! You will leave with some ideas for simple strategies to help yourself or those you support with Dyspraxia to thrive at home, in education and in the workplace.
