*New* Fact Sheet – What Does Having A Diagnosis Mean To You?

We are proud to be launching a new fact sheet during Dyspraxia Awareness Week 2019. We asked adults what does having a diagnosis of Dyspraxia/DCD mean to you? As always we where overwhelmed with your response and have created this fact sheet for all to share.

Some extracts:
I believe that if I have a diagnosis it would assist me in asking for support from others that I need for everyday situations.

Once I was diagnosed, having never heard of it, I researched it and it was as if they were describing me. It explained a lot of things from my childhood so I knew I wasn’t just stupid.

Every effort has been made to verify the accuracy of items in Dyspraxia Foundation Fact Sheets, however users are urged to check independently on matters of specific interest. The Dyspraxia Foundation encourages the reproduction and distribution of this fact sheet. If portions of the text are cited, appropriate reference must be made. Fact sheets may not be reprinted for the purpose of resale. Feel free to share across social media but please link back to this page.
