The 2.6 Challenge

Calling all home heroes!

As you are well aware, many fundraising events in the UK have been postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Whilst we are all hopeful many of these will still go ahead later in the year, we’ve been left struggling to maintain our crucial services with reduced funding.

We’re calling on you to take on the challenge so together we can continue supporting our community and their families. Join the nation in this challenge on Sunday 26 April, which would have been the London Marathon. The challenge will be open after 26 April if you can’t do it on this day!

Sounds Exciting, what do I need to do?

  1. Dream up your 2.6 challenge! Take the dog for a 2.6K walk (responsibly!), use your daily exercise to do a 2.6K walk or jog, maybe don’t even leave the house and climb up and down the stairs 26 times – the possibilities are endless!
  2. Head to this page to choose to either donate £26 yourself (or whatever you can afford) to the Dyspraxia Foundation or set up a fundraising page and ask friends and family to help you reach the £26 target.
  3. Complete your challenge (whilst following government guidelines on exercise and social distancing)
  4. Share a picture or video on social media when you’ve done your 2.6, tag your friends or family members and challenge them to have a go and use the hashtag #Dyspraxia26. Remember to tag us too on FacebookTwitter or Instagram – we’d love to share what you come up with!
