The Dyspraxia Foundation is looking to increase the strength and representation of the trustees in the following areas.
We are looking for an individual who has strong experience in special needs education. An ideal candidate would have direct experience of working in an education institution and understand the current issues, policies and practice surrounding special needs provision and DSA support. An educational psychology qualification or SpLD practising or assessment qualifications would be ideal.
Working with our existing education panel, the education trustee has the opportunity to guide charity’s support offering to the education sector, parents and students.
The Education Trustee would oversee the Dyspraxia Foundation’s contribution to national policy through response to consultation and making representation to government on the needs of students with dyspraxia/DCD.
