We are proud to be announcing our 3rd event in 2019 aimed at 16-25 year olds. This will be taking place in Birmingham on Saturday 12th October at the Jurys Inn, Broad Street.
Our youth events are for young people (16-25) with Dyspraxia only, if you require a friend or relative to drop you/pick you up please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org We will provide full directions to the venue, and one of our youth champions will be at New Street Station at some point in the morning to bring people to the venue as a group, details will be made to those who have paid nearer to the date.
A full day of exciting events, starting at 9.30am and finishing at 4.00pm giving those aged 16-25 a safe and secure time to socialise and meet others who simply just get it!
The day starts with an exciting and thought-provoking session led by our new adult representative, and previous youth group member, Alice Hewson who will be presenting a session on anxiety, well-being and the well-being of others.
The afternoon sessions include a make-up session with fellow dyspraxic Talia Jordan a graduate in Hair and Makeup for Fashion, or a session on male grooming! The fun continues with with the incredible sport of Cup Stacking from Speed Stacks UK! You need to see it to believe it, and everyone has the opportunity to join in and give it a go!
There will be plenty of time to socialise too, to catch up with old friends or to create new ones. Members of the Dyspraxia Foundation will also be in attendance to talk to you about anything!
