Dyspraxia: Building a toolkit for resilience – from surviving to thriving, with Victoria English
- Date: 19th April @ 9.30am - 12pm

- Who’s it for: people with dyspraxia or those supporting dyspraxics
- What’s it about: a practical session focusing on evidence-based methods to develop resilience and improved wellbeing, using practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques, with practical resources provided at the end of the session
Neurodiversity and the menopause, with Diane Porterfield-Bourne
- Date: 30th April @ 6pm - 7.30pm

- Cost: £25 per ticket, £20 for Dyspraxia Foundation members
- Who’s it for: people with dyspraxia or those supporting dyspraxics
- What’s it about: This session is intended to support women who are neurodivergent (or think they might be) with understanding the connection and impact of the menopause, but is also suitable for employers or healthcare professional wanting a greater understanding of ways they can better support neurodivergent women going through the menopause. The session will consist of a presentation by Diane, breakout rooms to discuss experiences with other delegates and opportunity to ask questions.

- What’s it about: a chance to ask Dr Sally Payne, a highly experienced Occupational Therapist, questions about dyspraxia diagnosis in children
Supporting people with dyspraxia - introduction to managing vulnerabilities, delivered by Vulnerable Paths
- Date: 27th June, 10am - 4.30pm
- Where: Online
- Cost: £300 for non-Dyspraxia Foundation members, £250 for Dyspraxia Foundation members
- Who’s it for: anyone already working directly with Vulnerable groups, such as managers/team leaders, business owners/trustees, HR managers/staff, customer service staff, service delivery staff (NHS, charity, private sector), trainers, teachers/education professionals
- What’s it about: This course will focus specifically on Dyspraxia with an introduction to the foundations of understanding Vulnerable Circumstances – circumstances which could, for example, significantly disadvantage or harm people because of unfair treatment, exploitation, or discrimination. Ensuring we get this right can bring great positive impacts for everyone involved, including people with Dyspraxia.
- This training will cover an introduction to What Dyspraxia is, how it can affect people and best practice examples of what can be done to help make a more fair and inclusive environment.
- It will also cover the What, Who, Why, When and How of Vulnerability, demonstrating how being able to recognise vulnerability more widely can improve your programmes and work culture.
